The Smooth Jazz Cruise 2008 was the bomb! I cannot tell you how much fun Regina and I had sharing that week with all of the artists, musicians and crew, but mostly with the greatest fans in the world!! There is just something special about the people who sail on The Smooth Jazz Cruise. They know how to party! They know how to have a good time! And, most importantly, they have heart and soul!!
Every show was superb and the Stars in Concert shows were simply over the top!! So many good times and so many wonderful memories. I have never felt more loved and closer to the fans in my life. I cannot thank you for the warm and wonderful response that each of the guests gave me.
Now it is on to The Smooth Jazz Cruise 2009!!! It is a great, great lineup. I am proud of our commitment to the “smooth jazz” sound and the added special acts such as Peabo Bryson and Rufus, featuring Chaka Khan. The heritage of R & B vocalists is an important part of The Smooth Jazz Cruise vibe, but we all know that it is the jazz that cherish the most.
So, if you were on The Smooth Jazz Cruise 2008, thank you and I hope that you will be joining us for The Smooth Jazz Cruise 2009. If you are new to our program, do not miss this wonderful, exciting and fun, fun week of great music, laughs and sharing your passion for music with over 1800 like minded colleagues.
