Omari Williams began playing the drums at a young age, like many musicians, in the church, then the jazz band, marching band and was performing professionally by age 17.
Boney James is his main gig, but Omari has also played with Ruben Studdard, Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler and and the finest musicians aboard The Smooth Jazz Cruise. In addition to drums, Omari plays bass and can sing background when needed. He is learning the keyboard so he can start making and producing his own music, as well as music for other artists and continues to work on learning new skills and keeping his original ones fresh and polished.
